Cheltenham Festival 2019 - Day 2

Winners yesterday at 6/1 and 14/1 on my ENIGMA Forum thread, so it was frustrating to pick the wrong one to put up on this blog. Aiming to fix that today.

Nicky Henderson's WILLIAM HENRY has a similar profile to the stable's Beware The Bare who bagged the Ultima yesterday following an excellent run in the same race (in similar conditions) 12 months before.

William Henry also goes particularly well at Cheltenham and like Beware The Bear runs here after a wind op. He is also on the same mark as last year - albeit he's lost James Bowen's 3lb claim.

Nico is on board suggesting William Henry is going very well at home and I can't help noticing he's been kept fresh, having won no fewer than 3 times previously coming off a break.

There's every reason to believe the stars are aligned here for a big run at a big price.

2.50 Cheltenham, William Henry 1pt EW 33/1, 5x1/5

** BOOM! Into orbit with William Henry a 33/1 winner - the Milky Bars are on me!

WILLIAM HENRY 😀😀😀. Brilliant pick Herbie, so typical of your selections, always looking for trends no one else spots. As they say, form is temporary, class is permanent. Playing with the bookies money now. Thank you so much.
